Home. She hadn't seen home in weeks. Ages. Razier looked up at the giantic tree that made up her home with the slightest of smiles. She stumbled over to the door and fumbled with a nook for her key. She then unlocked the door and made her way inside, motioning for Manuelle to follow her. She had successfully made it home without falling so Manuelle hadn't had to carry her again, but she just barely did so. She had been determined though. It was weird having him hold her. It made her skin tingle and she felt... just... embarrassed.
Inside her house she made her way to the kitchen and put her key down on the counter. "Want anything to drink?" She called to Manuelle, getting out two glasses and filling one with water for herself. Manners told her to worry about the comfort level of her guest before the whole reason she was here. She turned to walk to her fridge, water to her lips, when another wave of pain hit her. She dropped the glass which shattered on the floor. "Shit."
She clutched the edge of her kitchen table until the pain passed and then grabbed a dish towel to pick up the glass and wipe up the water. She'd have to go look in the attic soon, before it got any worse. There was now a constant aching in her ribcage and abdomin, spreading slowly through her up her neck and down her legs. It was not only annoying, but it wasn't practical. If she couldn't stand up she couldn't fight. At least not well. What if Marielle or Manuelle got into trouble? She'd have to make sure niether of them was out of her sight after today.
Her towel was soaked and there was a lot of glass. She slid a few feet to dump the glass in the trash and then pulled herself up to get a new towel. It took her a few minutes to find one, but when she did she dropped back to her knees with a grimace and picked up the rest. "I'm such a clutz." She muttered to herself through clenched teeth as she ignored more pain.
((hm yeah, crap. it's sort of hard to do a lot in the first post...))

Manuelle was so distracted by the fact that Razier actually lived on the inside of a tree that he had almost forgotten the real reason he was there. The entire way there he was in a state of awe. The castle thing in the clouds was the icing on the cake. He had officially seen it all. Or so he thought.
When Razier disappeared into the kitchen he just kind of roamed about looking at any and everything. “No thanks,” he said, snapping out of his daze. “We should really be getting you what ever it is that you need.” If her attic was anything like his they would have a lot of stuff to got through. They didn’t really have any time to waste. Razier’s life was on the line.
As soon as he heard the glass hit the floor Manny ran into the kitchen. By the time he got there she was already starting to wipe up the mess. “Damn it. You nearly gave me a fucking heart attack. I thought you collapsed or something.” He couldn’t believe that she was just going about as if being in that much pain was normal. If anything, that was what worried him the most. “Stop standing there like an idiot and help her,” the little voice in his head yelled at him.
He kneeled down next to her after she retrieved the second towel. “Gimme that.” He didn’t bother to wait for her to give it to him. He just took the towel from her hands and began to start cleaning up what was left. “I don’t know what to look for so you go up to your attic to start. I’ll clean up what’s left down here then I’ll come find you. We can’t put it off any longer.” He gave her a little nudge to indicate that she should go now and then began to wipe up the rest of the water.
OoC: no worries. That’s why I hate starting threads. There’s nothing to go off of… Hmmm…was Razier always an angel and I just never noticed it before or is this something you changed recently?

Razier was surprised when Manuelle came running into the kitchen and even more surprised by his words. He was worried about her? She couldn't imagine Manuelle being worried about her, but... there was more to Manulle than she knew currently. She could tell since their talk at the hideout. There was a lot more she didn't know.
When he took the towel from her she blushed, feeling ashamed. Why did she feel so stupid around him? Like everything she did was wrong or... just that she gave him a lot of necessary trouble? She never cared how much trouble she gave other people. Why was it suddenly different? Probably just a momentary weakness because Manuelle - Manuelle - was being so nice to her.
When he told her to go look for the stuff in the attic she nodded and got up slowly. She headed upstairs and into her bedroom, into her closet to get to the attic entrance. Contrary to Manuelle's thoughts her house was actually quite messy. Not to a serious degree - but it looked lived in and comfortable. Especially her bedroom. It had a lot of indian styled things from when her parents visited the mortal realm. They always stopped by India - it excited them.
So silk curtains hung everywhere as dividers and just because. Her bed was fluffy and the linens were bright reds and golds. Her walls were painted orange. It was the secret side of Razier. The slightly wild and fun side of her. Razier loved her room. Seeing it she didn't really want to go up into the attic and leave it behind, but she'd come back after obviously. So she stood on her tiptoes and slid the cover off the attic opening before jumping up and grabbing the edge, struggling with the pain running through her to haul her body up through the opening and into the dark attic.
She fell down the first two tries, but finally she got up the third and searched around for the light switch on the wall while she panted and growled at the stabbing feeling running through her chest and limbs. Once the light was on she wiped some thin sweat off her brow and looked around for the boxes of her mother's stuff. Her mother was the healer - the good one anyway. Razier spotted a group that might be them and got up to walk over to them and open it.
It was hot in the attic and stuffy. Razier could barely breath as she blew off some dust from the top box and opened it. It was only books in it so she moved it aside and opened the next. Some herbs and liquids in vials. Bingo. Razier rustled through, reading the labels for what they were for. She lifted one and smiled as she read it was for demon poison. Before she could read what types she got another wave of excruciating pain that took her breath away. She tried to hold onto the vial, but dropped it and collapsed. She watched it roll helplessly toward the opening and over the edge before her eyes closed.

Manuelle shook his head with a grin on his face as Razier turned to leave, but as soon as he realized that he was grinning he put the serious countenance back on, clearing his throat for good measure. He didn’t know what the reason for the smirk was; he had no idea what had gotten into him.
Setting the towel aside, he picked up the remaining pieces of broken glass and threw them in the garbage. That broken glass kind of resembled what he thought was his life when he was brought to the island. Putting that thought behind him, he threw the last piece of glass in the trash and wiped up the rest of the water. He stood, walked over to the sink, and squeezed out the water from the floor. Manny placed the towel along the edge of the sink and left the kitchen to find Razier.
Not sure where he was going, he called out to her. “Razier, where am I going. You neglected to tell me where the entrance to your attic was when you left.” It was no use. It was like he was talking to himself for there was no response. She was probably already up there looking. Surely her house was like his own…except for the fact that it was in a tree. “Tree house! I crack myself up.” In his house the entrance to the attic was in his mother’s walk-in closet. Manuelle walked up the stairs and entered what he assumed to be her room. He thought it was quite nice and unlike the Razier that he knew. But then again, did he really know her?
“Razier?!” Still nothing. Manny entered the closet, resisting his nosey urge to look at all of her stuff. The door to the attic was already pushed aside. He was about to try and climb in when he felt something under his foot. Bending down, he picked it up. It was a vial that said something about demon poison. “Hey, I think I found something. It must have fallen down here.” Yet again, no response. Frowning, he put it in his pocket. He jumped, but not much due to his height, and grabbed onto the side of the opening.
As soon as he was inside he noticed Razier sprawled out, not moving at all. “Shit, shit, shit,” he said, following that with a long list of other profanities. That always tended to happen when he was in a state of panic. Manuelle rushed over to her, trying not to fall through the ceiling. “Come on dammit!” He started patting her cheeks lightly. He was definitely scared now. “Wake up!” Suddenly he remembered the vial in his pocket, but realized that he had no idea what to do with it. He didn’t want to pour it down her throat if it was meant to be poured on a wound. That would only make the situation worse.
“Whatever.” He didn’t know what else to do. It didn’t appear that she had any wounds anyway. Unconsciously grabbing her hand, he said a quick prayer and uncorked the vial with his teeth. He only paused for a second before pouring some of the liquid past her slightly parted lips. “Please,” he said nervously. “You’re stronger than this.”

Blackness was a scary thing when you were alone. Razier didn't care who you were. Not being able to see the hand two inches from your face was frightening. She didn't know where she was, only that she couldn't leave and it was dark. And she was alone. Then again she was always alone even with people right there with her - so what was so scary about it this time besides the dark?
"Razier?" She heard her name called, but from where? She uselessly looked around the blackness, but still there was nothing there to help her see by. No one around to have called her name - that she knew of. Then suddenly she felt warm liquid sliding past her lips and going down her throat. "Please, you’re stronger than this." She was taken by surprise and started coughing. Her eyes fluttered open and she sat up with a start, wiping a bitter taste off her tongue.
"Uck, what the hell was that?" She muttered, turning to see Manuelle holding a vial. The one she had dropped? Was it his voice she heard before? She took the vial from him and read the label. It was the one she had dropped. "Gods, that tasted like ass... or... well I assume since ass doesn't sound pleasant tasting." She blushed and rubbed the back of her head. "Ew, and I have to drink more of it. Each hour for the next six hours!"
She spotted the cork on the floor and popped it back into the bottle with a sigh. She still ached, but at least she wasn't unconcious any more. She really could have died if Manuelle hadn't made the decision to make her drink that horrible stuff. She stood up and began to head back for the exit, but turned around briefly and hugged Manuelle. "Thanks, kiddo." She jokingly called him kiddo, but only to hide the fact that she was really truly grateful.
She then went back to the attic entrance and carefully lowered herself down. She was still a little unstable on her feet so she walked into her room and took a seat at her window for the time being, until she was steady enough to walk down stairs. She placed the potion on a nearby table, not happy at the prospect of having to drink it again. Pushing her currently brown-black hair out of her eyes she looked out over the Angel Territory, suddenly nostalgic. She had almost lost it all.
But thanks to Manuelle she was still a curse on this place. And oddly... happy to be so. She rested her head against the wall of the windowseat and hugged a pillow close to her. She wasn't ready to die yet. Now, not to punish herself more, but suddenly she had this urge to atone for the sins she had commited - to make up for getting her charge killed and being so neglectful. "So what if I was forced to be a guardian. It's my job, I should do it right." She muttered, not meaning to have said it out loud. "Besides, what else would I have done with my life?"
She probably would have ran around all day long doing nothing. Met a boy. Gotten married. Had kids. She did want a family... but she could have had that as a guardian too if she hadn't gotten her charge killed. Then she wouldn't have started putting herself into dangerous situations and Rhodes wouldn't have asked her to stop being a guardian, and she wouldn't have gotten angry and broken it off with him. They would have been married by now if that was the case.
She would have been an angel princess. She'd probably be having a child. She was seventeen for crying out loud! Thank the gods she didn't follow that path. Razier was so confused. She couldn't make up her mind whether she was happy or not about her life choices... especially those not made by her. "Hey, Manuelle, you're sort of in the same boat. Do you think it would be possible to make something good come of an unwanted situation?"
Why on earth was she asking him? He would probably say no. He really hated everything about the island. So why did she ask him, why did she care what he had to say? Because there was the chance he might say yes. Maybe if he reffered back to an event in the mortal realm. She didn't know. It was too late to unask the question though and she really did want his input. Especially if it was yes, because then she had hope that maybe she could be happy even with most of her decisions taken away from her.
Maybe she could die with one happy day in her memory.
((by the way... last post of mine I forget to say - yes she's always been an angel. lol.))

He hadn’t realized it but he had been holding his breath the entire time after he had gave Razier some of the liquid. On top of that his heart was beating loudly in his ears because he wasn’t sure if it would work. He’d never been around someone in such a life threatening situation before and it was freaking him out.
As soon as she showed signs of life he let out a huge sigh. “Thank God!” He was shocked that Razier didn’t linger on the fact that she had just been unconscious. She just got up and went on her way as if nothing had happened. It was incredible.
”Kiddo? Was she serious?” He couldn’t believe it. He had just saved her life but there she went, treating him like a little kid again. But what did he expect? He knew better than to think that she would treat him like her night in shining armor. It’s not like he want her to treat him that way anyway, right? “Yeah, you’re welcome,” was all he said as he rolled his eyes at her then followed her back down into the house.
When he entered her room from the closet he caught the last few things she said to herself. It seemed as if she was having a change of heart. He would have asked what caused it, but he knew better. It was none of his business and starting another fight was the last thing he wanted to do at this point.
Manny walked over to sit in front of her just as Razier finished speaking to him. “Well I…” he trailed off. He’d never really thought about that before. He was on the island and he knew that he was going to be there for quite sometime. Regardless of how much he didn’t like it, he knew that he wasn’t going home until they didn’t need him anymore. “I guess that’s the only way to live and be happy. I have two options: waste my summer and be miserable the entire time I’m here or make the best of it even though I don’t like it. The latter will make the time go by fast and I’m one tht hates wasting time so I might as well make the best of it.”
It was as if a light bulb had gone off, indicating that he was finally getting where his sister was coming from. Sure, Marielle probably didn’t want to be there either but she had the right approach. He had to take the situation at hand with a grain of salt, not matter how inconvenient it might be for him. It was the only way to live life without being unhappy and depressed. Bad things are always going to happen to people. But we can’t let those bad things define us as people.” He sat back and digested what he said. He was a little impressed with his own ideas about this. It really was true.

Manuelle did say yes. Sort of. She was surprised at first, but then as he continued speaking she understood where he was coming from. He only had the summer to worry about though. He was lucky. She had the rest of her life to worry about. She had the rest of her exisitence pinned to this island and what everyone else wanted of her.
If it was all she had though she had to settle for it and make the best of it just like Manuelle had to make the most of what people wanted of him for this summer. Razier turned to look at him with a half-smile. "I'm glad to know you want to try now though. Try to enjoy your time here or at least make do. It's really not such a bad place normally. If you were here - just another person and not a prophecy child - I think you might like it. It's pretty. It's ... I don't know."
"When there isn't a war it's wonderful. Peaceful. Relaxing. Perfect." Or so she wanted to believe. It was the only home she had ever known so... of course it was the best thing she knew too. Razier stared out the window again and pounded her head against the glass lightly. She then turned back to Manuelle and leaned over, hugging him again.
"I could have died." She said bluntly. "But you saved my life. I know I thanked you already, but... I really mean it. I don't think I made that clear before." She pulled away and then stood up. "I'll go get us drinks. You really must be thirsty after our fighting and the walk and everything."
Razier headed out of her room and downstairs, careful to hold the railing tightly. In the kitchen she leaned against the counter for a minute, letting a small stab of pain run it's course and allowed herself a moment to think. She really could have lost her life today, but Manuelle saved her. Wasn't it supposed to be the other way around? Wasn't she supposed to be the one doing the saving?
She took out two unbroken glasses from the cupboard and a pitcher of iced tea from the fridge. She filled the cups and then carried them back upstairs. Some guardian she was. Having to be saved by her charge. She came back into her room and handed Manuelle a glass. She then took her seat at her window again and curled up, sipping at her drink.
The actual reality that her state had been so bad she needed Manuelle to save her was finally sinking in. Her hands were shaking and she was missing her mouth with most of her drink. She turned and set her drink down, almost spilling it over. She wiped her mouth and curled up tighter.
((ugh that was crap. sorry.))

OoC: Psh…I’m sure yours is no worse than mine will be.
Razier was probably right. He was on a f**king island for Pete’s sake. Why not enjoy it? There was a lake, a beach, and total relaxation…minus the whole war and prophecy child part. Maybe she’d allow him to go to the shore some time. A quick dip in the ocean seemed nice.
He was taken completely by surprise when she hugged him. “Uh, you’re welcome.” Once she excused herself to the kitchen he blinked a few times. She really had hugged him and she really was grateful. He wasn’t imagining it. Manny was proud of himself for some reason. He smiled to himself, then felt stupid again, and brought back a serious look on his face.
When she came back and handed him the iced tea he downed half of it in few gulps. He hadn’t realized how thirsty he was. The time was going by so quickly. He barely remembered being asked by Razier herself to punch her. He laughed to himself as he took another sip. Physically fighting her had definitely been interesting.
Mid-laugh, he noticed her shaken state and immediately became concerned. Manuelle put his drink down on the windowsill and gently placed his hand on her shoulders. He ran his eyes over her frame with worry. “All you alright? Do you need anymore of that stuff?”
OoC: See…?

Razier snapped out of it as she felt Manuelle's hand on her shoulder. He asked if she was alright - if she needed more of that nasty medication. "N-no... I'm ok. Sorry." She said, putting on a smile and reaching a hand up to take his into it and off her shoulder. She didn't mind his hand being on her shoulder, but she liked it better in her hand.
What on earth was she thinking? She let go of his hand with a laugh and went back for her drink. "Things are just sort of setting in. That I could have died. I mean. I keep saying it, but it just really set in. I could have lost everything and then... and then you and Marielle would have been here on the island all alone and without protection. And you would have been somewhere alone where you couldn't have gotten back to safety from."
"Gods, I'm so sorry, Manuelle. I should have looked for a treatment sooner." She hung her head, ashamed she had been so stupid. "I shouldn't have put it off and put you and your sister at risk." She downed the rest of her drink and put the glass back down on the table next to the noxious vial of liquid.
((blahhh. yours was good. mine sucked.))

The moment of worry passed as Razier said that she was okay and ended with a smile on her face. Manuelle followed her hand with his eyes as she took his hand from her shoulder and held it in her own. There she went, taking him by surprise again. Before he had a chance to question her motives her hand was gone and she was laughing the awkwardness off.
“Well you’re alright so you don’t even have to worry about that now. Besides, when you’re done training us we’ll be able to hold our own and kick some serious ass.” Razier had really impressed him with her fighting skill, though it was brief. It amazed him to know that she'd started her training at such a young age.
There was a bit of awkward silence for a moment until he thought of something from before. "You don't have to answer this if you don't want to, but...do you miss Rhodes? Like, being with him. Because it seems that you were with him because you felt obligated. Correct me if I'm wrong." It probably wasn't his place to ask; he didn't even know why he was. It had just been something that he'd been wondering about since she'd mentioned Rhodes to him.
"Funny thing is, since I've been here, I haven't really missed Raquel. Yeah, I've thought about her, but everytime I do, it's about how much hurt she's caused me. I haven't thought about anything good from our relationship since I've been here. I don't think I miss her at all actually." it was weird. He'd spent so much time wondering if he should take Raquel back, but now it seemed very clear what he should do.

Manuelle said she didn't have to worry about it because she was fine, but she still did. However when he mentioned how he and Marielle would be ok once she trained them - how they could kick some serious ass - she just laughed. Sometimes he said the funniest things.
He suddenly asked about Rhodes. If she missed him. She didn't. Not him. Not really. "I miss being loved, but I don't miss him. I didn't love him back. I don't miss him lecturing me about being a guardian. I don't miss his over protective nature." She shrugged. "Like I said though - I miss being loved, I miss being cared about."
"That's it. I wouldn't want to be cared about though by someone I couldn't care about in return. A one sided love must be the worst. So painful..." Razier hung her head a moment and then looked back up as Manuelle explained that he didn't miss Raquelle. Why did that make her a tiny bit happy?
"Not at all? Maybe you have your answer for when you get home then, right? You'll go find yourself a girl who won't hurt you like she did." Razier smiled. "You deserve that. And you deserve to be home and safe. I'm sorry you aren't. I didn't want you and Marielle to be brought back here, not just because I didn't want to watch after you guys - I won't lie at first that was a big part of it. My hatred for how your births caused all this toruble. However it was also because I knew it would force you into roles you wouldn't want."
"I've had to deal with that and I would never want that to happen to anyone else." She tucked her knees up and wrapped her arms around then, resting her chin on her knees and looking at Manuelle with a small smile. "Not even a jerk like you." She joked.
"So, tell me... what's your home like? What will you do when you get back there?" She was curious. She had only been to the mortal realm twice, maybe three times. And never far from the triangle. Plus, it was nice to know what her charges would do and it was nice for them to know. To give them something to look forward to. To live for.

“I know exactly how you feel,” Manuelle said after Razier explained that she missed being in love. “I miss caring about someone and having them care for me back. It’s a great feeling, but it doesn’t exist with Raquel. I was actually kind of blinded, come to think of it, now that you mention one sided relationships. She stopped loving me for a long time before we broke up and it sucked. I could feel it but I didn’t want to believe it and I guess that’s why I never broke up with her when I should have.” She was right. He was done with Raquel and when he got home he’d break it off for good.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this, but maybe being here is not so bad. It’s not being here that I hate, it’s the fact that I was brought against my will without any questions answered. One things people know about me is that I hate being told what to do or being forced to do things.” He scratched his chin, making a mental note to shave.
“I mean, I knew things kinda didn’t add up when I was younger. I remember being little and not having any baby pictures with my parents. I just never put much thought into it. Whoever set all of this up did a pretty good job of sending us to people that look exactly like Marielle and I. I dunno…” He sighed. “I’m still a little skeptical but I guess I should talk to that woman claiming to be my mother. It looked like I really hurt her by the things I said. I should go talk to her. I have a lot of questions.”
Talking to Razier like this was kind of nice. He had no idea where it came from but he was enjoying it. He wouldn’t mind if they never went back to their training, despite it’s usefulness. “Home is…well, the typical family home. We live in a suburb. There’s a local high school that Marielle and I go to. I just graduated and I’ll be starting college in the fall. Doing what exactly I’m not sure. I haven’t really thought that far ahead. What about you? What was life like for you before Mari and I showed up?”

She smiled when Manuelle said that being there might not be so bad. That smile faltered a little though when he said he hated being told what to do. She knew how he felt. She hated it too. So much that sometimes she wanted to run away and never return. She couldn't leave the island for long though. She was so attached even though she didn't want to be. It was the only home she knew though - how could she leave that?
And that must have been how Manuelle felt when he was dragged from what he knew and dropped into this insane world. Her smile faded completely. Shortly replaced with a confused look. "Suburb? High school? I know what a school is... but they have high ones and low ones? And what is a suburb exactly? Obviously a house... but is it a big one? A subterranean one? And college - is that another school? Or work?" She was clueless about the mortal realm really.
Well, clueless about some of their terms. Their vocabulary. If she was to move there she would probably fit right in, but she would also probably get confused all the time when talking to people about special mortal realm words. She blushed and laughed at herself. "Sorry I'm so ignorant." She rubbed her cheeks as if that would get rid of the heat and embarrassment from them.
She finally decided to talk about something she knew though. What life was like here before. It was an easy question to answer too. "Boring. Stupid. Nothing special. I lived here, got courted by Rhodes, saved people's lives, got others killed, watched wars happen, trained. Basically the same things I do now."
She shrugged. "The poison was a nice change of pace though." She said before thinking her words through. When she realized what she said she blushed a darker red and cleared her throat. "I mean... it's just..." What did she mean? "At least it added some spice to life... or um. Gods, this isn't coming out right." Or was it? Was that what she meant? At least almost dying was different from the 'living' she had been doing before.

Manny had no idea that things were so different here than they were back home. Obviously there were demon and angels her, but he figured that the structure of life would be pretty much the same. Birth, schooling, college, work, family, death. When she asked him about high school he nearly choked on air. High school had been his life for the past four years. It never occurred to him that someone might not know what it was. “Um, not exactly. See there’s preschool. You go there when you’re a baby. Then there’s elementary school where you learn the basic reading and math. You go there from five years old to about ten years old. After that is middle school, ages eleven to thirteen. Here you learn stuff that’s a bit harder. High school is from ages fourteen to seventeen/eighteen. Things are much harder and a lot more focused. You learn things a bit more in depth. College is where you learn things for when you become an adult and have to work. You do have school here, right?” He imagined that the children here had to learn. How else would they make a living? It seemed that they were both a bit ignorant to each other’s worlds.
“A suburb is just a town…or village might be a better word to use for you to understand. There are a lot of houses, schools, and such. It’s not very big or busy. Very family oriented.” He considered his neighborhood to be pretty boring. “You think that’s boring?!?! You should come to where I live sometime. You’d probably jump out of a window or something after five minutes. It’s hella boring over there.” Sure, he had his friends, but it was the same thing day in and day out. If anything, being kidnapped added a little spice to his life.
“I know it sounds crazy, but that’s how I feel about being kidnapped. I mean, it was probably one of the worst the worst things that has ever happened to me but it’s like everyday is a new adventure. I’ll have some great stories to tell my children, if I ever have any of course.”

Manuelle explained high school and everything. Razier nodded, "Ohh... hm..." He asked if they had school here on the island and she shrugged. "Sort of. Most kids are homeschooled. Then there are places like the temple where children are trained in specific ... professions."
"And a suburb... it's family oriented? I don't think I'd fit in very well there. That's for sure." Meaning she didn't have a family. "I guess I can see why you would think it's boring, but life here gets boring too." She laughed. It did too. Anywhere got boring after a while. "Maybe we just need to stir things up more often. If you decide you sort of like the island - come back and visit some time."
"You want children? I think you'll make a good father if you ever find a girl who will put up with you." She stuck out her tongue jokingly. He did seem like a good father though. She couldn't put down why. Maybe because he was really caring underneath it all. And he could be funny - even if he didn't mean to be. And he was understanding.
Then again - did that make a good father? She didn't know. She didn't know what a father was like. Hers died when she was one. Razier stared at the wall a moment in silence. She wanted children, but... would she make a good mother? Probably not. She didn't know what a mother should be like either. She doubted it should be someone who got themselves hurt and neglected others she was supposed to take care of.
"I'll make sure to keep you alive, ok? So you can get that family, those kids... so you have someone to tell your freaky stories to. Just don't forget to tell them about the insane angel girl who you fought with all the time. Ok? They'd probably find that funny. A girl beating up their daddy." Razier snickered half-heartedly and finally looked back at Manuelle.
