Lilly nodded in agreement. "No, it's not boring. And I have tons of books if you would ever like to borrow them. Though you may not find them very intriguing. Some are romance novels." She watched as he sat down next to her and listened as he commented about the pubs. "Yeah they can be as long as you have the right company." Lilly fingered the hem of her sweatshirt and laughed softly when he said he didn't sleep much either.
"Well what do you know..." she said sarcastically and smiled again. He flipped his hair and once again, Lilly caught herself admiring him. Their eyes locked and she felt as though the world had disappeared. I really need to stop doing that... she thought and looked at the ground in front of her. She looked up again however when he began talking about his abilities. She couldn't contain the fascination in her eyes as he described his "superpowers".
She felt herself flinch slightly when he showed her his fangs, but she also found that they gave him a slightly sexy appeal to him. It had to be the bad boy thing. A small smile graced her lips to show that he hadn't frightened her again. Her heart pumped a little harder at his smirk and when he reached out to twirl her hair. Her eyes drooped slightly without her permission. Playing with her hair had always been one of her weaknesses. Her mind commanded her to control herself.
Lilly looked at Aiden from underneath her long eyelashes and was surprised to find him directly in front of her now. Her heart pounded a little harder at the closer proximity and felt her mind go blank at his question. What did she want to do? She couldn't possibly tell him that at that moment, all she wanted to do was kiss him. That was completely out of the question.
And yet....
Lilly found herself leaning a little closer towards him so that there was only a few inches seperating them. "Well, if we can't go find demons or vampires, which I thank you because I don't exactly want to die yet....I guess we are just going to have to occupy ourselves. The question is how."
Lilly was surprised by herself. She was never, repeat never, this forward with anyone. Something about Aiden appealed to her, and she wasn't willing to always play it safe. The risk and danger that he possessed intrigued her, mesmerized her.

Aiden found it increasingly pleasing whenever she smirked at him. Girls only did that under two circumstances: when they were abusing you, or when they were flirting (to a degree). She was flirting...which made things very fun for him. He found himself listening to her pulse as it accelerated; the sound of a rapidly beating heart was incredibly distracting.
It certainly didn't help that she leaned a little closer.
He was feeling warm inside again, and thanked the gods that his veins were dead; he would have been blushing furiously otherwise, though he wasn't sure why. He could just tell. But his skin would always be cold, no matter what his feelings.
"Mmm," he agreed, "how should we occupy ourselves? I've got plenty in mind." He couldn't help but smirk. Then, unable to resist, Aiden leaned closer, too, but before his lips touched hers he turned his head, and brought his mouth to her ear again to whisper: "I'm at your disposal, my dear. I know the island like the back of my hand. Anywhere you want to go, I can take you...
"Unless," he added softly, "you'd rather stay here. I'm sure we could find some way to amuse ourselves." Aiden realized after he finished just how suggestive that little speech was, and pulled away from her so that their noses were a few inches apart again. He fixed his deep, brown eyes on hers and asked lightly and quietly, "So, what'll it be?" He, of course, noted how very beautiful her eyes were...and hoped she didn't flutter her eyelashes at him, because it drove him absolutely crazy when girls did that. Especially when they had such pretty lashes as she...
((ROFL...I'm sorry, I think I'm having way too much fun with this thread. XD))

((haha but its fun!! lol))
Lilly watched him as he smirked at her, and once again, her stomach had the familiar sensation of butterflies. He leaned closer to her and Lilly let her eyes drop as she anticipated the kiss...which never came. She felt his face turn so that his mouth was near her ear. A small shiver went up her back. He could take her anywhere on the island. She had always wanted to explore, she just never had the courage to do so.
A furious blush raced to her face at his next suggestive statement. Her eyelashes drooped to shield her eyes but raised again to lock with his. She tried to decide what she wanted to do. Explore, or stay here with Aiden. Either way she would be with him. Her only fear was that she didn't know when the sun would come. And if he brought her too far away from home, he wouldn't be able to bring her back.
Lilly fluttered her eyelashes as his eyes focused on hers. She bit the bottom corner of her lip and stared back at him. What will it be? Without a second thought, she leaned closer to him and brought her lips against his. She stayed there for a few seconds before pulling away slowly to where she had previously been. Her heart pounded in her chest at her daring and she knew her face must be the color of a pink rose.
She lifted her gaze away from Aiden's mouth and towards his eyes, mentally daring him to make the next move.

Crap, he thought anxiously when she fluttered her eyelashes, trying desperately to concentrate on something else but not able to tear his eyes away from hers...
And then...well, Aiden was beyond suprised; he was infinitely shocked when her lips touched his. That was one of the last things he'd expected. Not to say he didn't enjoy it. Her lips were soft, warm, and it was a welcome sensation against the constant cold that came with being a vampire. He felt like his guts were knotting together and he'd never be able to untangle them. He felt like he never wanted it to stop...but then it did, and she was back against the tree again. Aiden then did something that hadn't happened since he'd been turned.
He fell over.
In the midst of all the distractions and tumultuous emotions of the moment, Aiden had actually lost his balance. He fell backward out of the squat and his butt his the ground hard, but he barely felt it. He would have been blushing furiously now, if he'd been able to. All he could do was swiftly pull himself into a sitting position and stare at her for a moment, utterly bewildered. He had a severe urge to tackle her and start kissing her again, but he resisted...for the moment.
Since when did I get romantic? he asked himself silently, before giving her a lopsided grin and saying, "Congratulations! You're the first girl to ever make me lose my balance."
He utilized his unnatural speed then, moving so rapidly and silently that she couldn't have seen his transition from a few feet away from her to practically on top of her. Aiden bent his head slightly to whisper in her ear, "You still didn't answer me," then did something very bold, something which would have been very risky had his appetite not already been appeased. His cold, but softened, lips touched the skin below her ear in a light kiss.

Lilly tried, she honestly did. A soft giggle left her mouth as she saw him fall over. She remembered how he had told her about his amazing balancing skills and couldn't help but to laugh a little harder. He looked adorable sitting on the ground with a lopsided grin. She was a sucker for that face. She smiled triumphantly when he congratulated her and let out a little cry of surprise when he was suddenly in front of her. She laughed again and looked up at him.
She fell quiet as she looked into his eyes. Beautiful. His head bent near her ear again and she swallowed a lump that had formed in her throat. Her breathing hitched and her blood sped up even more than it had before when she felt his lips just under her ear. That was her second weak spot. Damn she thought and bit her lip once more to prevent her from doing anything.
She lightly pushed his chest with her hands so that he was forced to look at her. "I haven't have I? Well I guess I'll need to fix that." She leaned up and brought her lips to his once more, this time with a little more force. Then she stood up quickly and walked over to a tree a few feet from where Aiden was most likely sitting with a confused face. She folded her arms and leaned against the tree. "Well? Are you going to show me around or what?" she asked with a mischievious grin.

Aiden was sure he would go absolutely insane. Not only did her blood smell good, but so did her hair, and the rest of her for that matter. Her heart was pounding again, and the sound filled his ears while the scent filled his nose, and he was in such a state of ecstasy that he couldn't really think straight. It was like she was an extremely powerful drug, a stimulant, making his mind race and his stomach twist, causing a cold sweat to appear on the back of his neck...
To his severe disappointment, she pushed him away, and he was lucky he didn't need to breathe because he was breathless. He heard her voice as if it were a faraway echo, his mind was so wrapped up in the pink flush of her cheeks, the sparkle in her eyes, the soft temptation of her lips...he didn't care what she wanted to do, be it stay there or go off somewhere else, as long as he could at least keep an arm around her the whole time he'd be content.
Then she kissed him again, and all the effects of the drug were back; he had to fight his instincts to keep his fangs from extending and piercing her skin. He knew if he tasted her blood he probably wouldn't be able to stop; and, though part of him knew she would be the sweetest thing he'd ever tasted, Aiden would hate himself for eternity for causing her death. She was affecting him more deeply than anyone else ever had, and he had absolutely no idea why.
That scared him; but the fear only contributed to the high.
She pulled away again, and only his high levels of self-control kept him from grabbing her and crushing her to him. Lilly was walking away, and Aiden could only watch for a minute with a blank and baffled expression before he remembered himself. She grinned mischievously at him, and Aiden found that he was quickly becoming a sucker for her smile, be it smirk or sincere.
He raised an eyebrow at her question, and, solely for the sake of showing off, pushed forward off of his hands, flipped in midair, and landed lightly on his feet right in front of her. It was his turn to smirk now. "Of course, but I doubt you want to venture into the forests. We'll meet too many dangerous creatures, especially since we're relatively close to the demonic part of the woods. How do mountains sound?" he asked, absently reaching out and fiddling with the hair framing her face again. He'd noticed her reaction before, and wanted to see it again.

Lilly fought another giggle as she was him look at her perplexed. He was too adorable. She took a deep breath as she looked at him, trying to hide the effect he was having on her. Just looking at him was making her stomach flip and her skin tingle. She liked the feeling of his lips on hers, his cool skin...
She let out a small laugh as he suddenly stood up and flipped over to her. "Very impressive," she said with a smile as she gazed into his hypnotic eyes once more. She listened as he said the demonic woods were nearby and felt slightly fearful. She looked around anxiously to see if she saw any threatening movements but she didn't. She turned back to Aiden and smiled.
He was smirking again and had reached out to play with her hair. Her eyes once again drooped and she felt her knees go a little weak. She bit the bottom of her lip again and forced herself to look at him from under her eyelashes. She wouldn't surrender that easily if she could resist. She grinned at him once more. "The mountains sound great. But isn't that really far?"
Lilly dragged her eyes away from his face and looked up at the sky. The stars were beginning to disappear and the sky wasn't as dark as it had been. Dawn would be there in a few short hours. Would they be able to make it back in time? Or would she have to stay with him til the next night. Her heart skipped a beat at this thought and she looked back at him. She liked the second option very much though she wouldn't admit it to him.
