Arya was restless.
She paced up and down a rocky outcropping on the edge of their island, watching the water meters below her crashing onto the rocks, pummeling them as she wanted to pummel something. The lycanness whipped out a hunting knife from her belt and hurled it at a tree about ten meters away, though she couldn't be bothered to grin with satisfaction when it stuck into the trunk at the dead center of the tree. Where is he?!
Amad had left the island hours ago and still not returned. She would go after him if he hadn't left her in charge...there was always the chance of an attack, and she didn't really want to trust the others with being responsible for the clan's island, especially since she'd seen evidence the day before of a massive freak earthquake on shore. Arya knew enough to have figured out it was the Earth Elemental, the guardian Razier, who caused it, and she'd only do that in the event of a deadly battle. She'd seen fire, too, lots of it, which told her the demons were involved.
Arya didn't know what they were fighting over, but she didn't want the lycans getting mixed up in it. All the royals were unpredictable, but the demons were the worst.
She strode over to the tree and yanked her knife out of it and strapped the weapon back to her belt. Then she turned her gaze toward the large island again, still searching for the one she'd come to know as a brother.
Where are you?
