"Yea...I've met others." he looked at her and he could have sworn that both by her expression and almost sarcastic tone, she didn't believe the fact that he had. "What, you don't believe me? Well I've got to say, I'm lucky to still be standing. But it's not for nothing that humans are afraid of me. I'm not that helpless." he grinned slightly, looking down at her again, curious to see how she would respond to that. "But don't worry. You're definately my favorite." he put a finger under her chin again, pretending as though it was only because of her looks that she was his 'favorite'. Then he continued "Probably because you havent tried to kill me yet." he laughed lightly.
"hmm" he smirked again "Is that an invitation for a date princess? Now I gladly accept." his grin was even wider than before. Not because he was happy that she had supposedly invited him on a date, but because he knew she hadn't meant it that way and it would probably erk her that he was pretending it to be so. "Make sure you bring your bikini next time. Can't wait to see you in it." now he was just trying to make her uncomfortable by teasing her. He couldnt tell why, but he was having so much fun with this.
"Well Ros, I like your name" it was only then that he began walking out of the water, leaving her to do as she pleased, although he was sure that she would follow. It was clear she wasn't a fan of swimming for some reason, although he had to admit, that had been a clever excuse. He wondered though. Had she not bitten him because she wasn't hungry? Or because she actually liked him as much as it would take for her not to bite him? Surely he wouldn't be able to find that out anytime soon.
It probably would've been a better idea if I had actually taken my shirt off before throwing myself in the water...he realized how silly he must have seemed. He took off his shirt as he walked onto the shore and squeezed the water out of it. His bangs had been pushed against his face as water dripped onto his face, creating quite an uncomfortable feeling. But he ignored it. "So Ros, we gotta get planning on that next date of ours" he just didn't know when to stop teasing her.

Roslynn raised an eyebrow when he said he had met other vampire princesses. She wasn't sure weather to believe him or not. She laughed when he said humans were afraid of him. "Most humans are afraid of everything. Have you ever made some common noise around them in the dark? They get so jumpy, it's quite amusing."
She simply glared at him as he put his finger beneath her chin again. "Keyword there, darling. Yet," She replied with a smirk. Although she really didn't plan on it, she didn't want him to know that.
She mentally cursed. Ros knew he was going to take her comment as an invitation. There was no way she was going swimming again. She hated the water. She never even took baths, it was always showers. She knew it was basically impossible to drown in a bath tub, but the idea still scared her.
"Oh I'm sure you can." She muttered, almost inaudibly when he said he couldn't wait. He was going to have to.
Roslynn turned and watched as Remi walked out of the water. She didn't want to stand in the water, but didn't want to follow exactly either. She decided that following him was a better idea then staying in the water though, and went to take a step. When she did, however, she found her foot had sunk into the mud at the bottom of the lake. She tried to pull it out, and succeeded, only to lose her balance and fall into the water.
Even though the water was only waste deep, when she was completely underwater it seemed like much more. She opened her mouth to scream without thinking and water filled into her lungs. She closed her eyes and put her hands on the floor of the lake. Ros attempted to push off and try to resurface but just found that her hands sunk into the mud. She struggled more, only succeeding it sliding down farther to the center of the lake.
The water was deeper now and she had no way of getting out. She couldn't breath and it felt like her lungs were going to explode. She opened her eyes but only saw spots of random colors. Her energy was gone and Ros stopped struggling.
No.. She thought to herself.

He nodded, concurring with her statement about humans. It was true, they were pretty much afraid of anything they weren't used to. And most were very unaccepting of anything different, a very bad habit which often got them into a lot of trouble, although not with him. He really didn't care to bother humans much. He even befriended some on occasion. He was a rather polite guy in general, although he knew better than to show off his wings in the middle of the market place.
He laughed again. He had specifically placed the word 'yet' into that sentence not to undermine the fact that he was aware of the danger he was risking with every minute he spent with her. But she had to have expected that he would use her supposed 'invitation' to his advantage.
He took the momentary silence as thinking time in order to figure out what she would answer. But when he didn't hear her voice for a while, he turned around and saw that she had dissappeared. He was aware of the speed that vampires possessed naturally and began suspecting that perhaps she was ready to attack him and was playing with him a bit. He immediately was on his guard.
He saw the water ripple in a strange fashion. He seemed baffled by the idea that perhaps, she had been dragged under water. Was that even possible? She had been standing where the water was only to her waist! This had to be a trick right? He saw bubbles, and more ripples before they stopped completely. He had to take a chance.
He ran and dove into the water, before realizing that in fact, she couldn't really die because of drowning, could she? Well anyways, she was in trouble...probably. The water was dark and cold against his skin since he hadn't taken the time to put his shirt back on. Finally, after a few moments, he felt an arm and reached Ros. He placed his arms underneath her shoulders as his wings sprouted straight up through the water. With a strong whip of his wings through the water toward the ground, they were propulsed toward the surface. Better than him actually swimming up, it would have taken them much longer.
He pulled her to the shore as fast as he could and put her down in the sand. "Ros..are you ok? Ros!" he had taken her face in his hands and was genuinely concerned. It wasn't that he didn't want to do mouth to mouth, but simply just that he really had no idea how to do it. Damn it... he thought to himself. He pulled her into a sitting position, assuming that if she did have water in her lungs, it would be easier to get it out that way.

Roslynn barely felt something touch her arm and then pick her up. She had closed her eyes again so she wasn't sure who or what it was. She then realized she was out of the water as she felt whoever had her lay her down in the sand.
Her eye's fluttered open as she was sat up. She only got a glance around before she closed them again and turned her head to the side, coughing up a stomach full of water. Her hands went to her forehead as she looked around, not really comprehending much.
When Ros looked at Remi, she didn't recognize him at first. She only really saw his wings and knew he was an angel. "Oh god. I'm dead," She muttered as she rubbed her forehead.
Then she came back to her senses and sighed in relief. She wasn't dead. She had almost drowned, but she wasn't dead. She ran her fingers through her wet hair and shivered as drops of water fell onto her back. This experience was going to set her on edge for a while. Her whole body was still shaking.
Roslynn closed her eyes and tried to remember what had happened, but immediately reopened them when she remembered the random spots of color and how her lungs had felt. Her gaze felt to the surface of the lake, which was now calm and unmoving. "Thank you..."
((crap. sorryyy.))

He was relieved when he saw her get rid of the water that had most likely leeked into her lungs. Surely she would be alright once she had done that, but just to make sure, he figured he would ask. "Are you alright?"
Her comment about beging dead didn't really comfort him, but it made him smile a bit. "Actually, you are, just not completely" which was true. He began wondering whether vampires actually could completely die due to drowning.
"Your welcome" he watched her shaking and was very concerned. "You should have told me you couldn't swim" he had finally figured out why she seemed to hate the water so much. "I wouldn't have dragged you in" although he probably would have made fun of her, but no in a mean way!
He wrapped his arms around her waist and helped her up, making sure that she wouldn't sway of fall because of disorientation. "I'll take you home if you want." he realized he was volunteering to go to a place that was crawling with vampires, but he figured this had been partly his fault and he wasn't a bad guy. He felt sorry for what had happened. "Hey, I'm really sorry...I really didn't mean for this to happen." he finally apologized, wondering how she would be taking that.

Roslynn shook her head yes when Remi asked if she were alright. She was now that she had gotten most of the lake water out of her system. She was still shaky though. "Out of all the things in the world for a vampire to be afraid of..." she commented as she looked away from the lake.
Roslynn laughed at his remark about her being dead, just not completely. She shouldn't have though, because her laughing turned to coughing and she coughed up the rest of the lake water inside of her.
She rolled her eyes at him, "Like I had time to say anything before you picked me up and drug me in. And I wasn't going to tell you. That would be showing weakness. I'm not weak."
Even though Ros had said she wasn't weak, she sure felt it now. Especially when he helped her up. She was glad that Remi was holding onto her because it felt like she didn't have legs for a moment. Once she regained balance, she took a step back. She was being stubborn. She didn't want his help, she already felt that it was his fault in the first place.
She chuckled when he offered to take her home. That probably wasn't a good idea, "No, it's okay. I can make it there on my own." She adjusted her dress and smoothed it out as best she could as it clung to her slender body. "Yeah, I know. Don't worry about it."
Don't worry about it? What was she saying? She had almost just died because of him and here she was telling him to let it go. He did save her though. But that was besides the point. She would normally have drained someone dry if they had almost gotten her killed. So why was she still standing there, with the thought hardly crossing her mind?

"I don't think that means your weak" he said rather bluntly, but didn't hesitate to continue with your thoughts "But what makes you really strong is to conquor that fear. If you want, I could teach you how to swim." that might've not been the best thing to say.
He was rather suprised when she said not to worry about it. She wasn't going to yell at him? Try to kill him for doing something like that? Admittedly, even he would have been mad probably. And she seemed less patient that he might have been, being a vampiress and all. But in a way, it pleased him that she was taking it well.
The air had gotten colder and he could now see his breath. His wings retreated back into his back and he picked up his shirt in order to put it on. He probably should go. Pushing the situation didn't seem like a smart thing to do, although he didn't really want to leave her either. He felt bad.
"Are you going to go back home? I should probably go." he sighed lightly.

Roslynn shivered when Remi offered to teach her to swim. Learning to swim would mean she would have to get back in the water. That wasn't happening. She was already nervous about going home and getting a shower. She was truly pathetic.
"No thanks, angel boy. Maybe in another lifetime." She replied with a light smile. She wrapped her arms around herself, just realizing how cold she was from the combination of being wet and the night air.
Ros nodded when he asked if she were going home. She need a shower and a nap, maybe some food as well. But she wasn't done here. No, she still had to toy with him a bit.
She took a few steps toward him and looked up at him. She stood on her tip toes and kissed his cheek lightly. "Thanks for an..interesing.. night, angel boy." She smirked and winked and then turned around.
She kept walking but looked back, "See you around." With that, Ros left the lake and headed home.
