OoC: ehhh...I'm not very good at starting threads...or coming up wth titles for them.
BiC:
They had been walking for quite some time, taking in everything that was around them. Manuelle wasn’t one typically to be into nature, but he couldn’t get over the beauty of the island. The trees and grass were so green that it almost seemed unreal. Spotting a lake through the trees, Manny walked a little further to its shore. The sun sparkled across the water’s surface as if the lake were filled with diamonds.
“Hey Mari” he said to his younger sister as he looked across the water. “Don’t you find it odd how we haven’t seen any people other than Razier.” The island was so quite. It seemed as if they were alone, but he felt a presence, as if he were certain that there were others on the island.
“I mean, we’ve been here for sixteen days and the only person we’ve seen so far is Razier. I just think it’s a little weird.” He knew there were other people because Razier had mentioned it, but then again, how could you trust someone that talked to plants.

Marielle had held to her brother's hand the whole time they walked. She was still unsure of the island and wished they had stayed back in the hideout. She could feel her bottom lip getting thinner as she continually bit it. But, in a way, she was so glad that they had ventured out. Everything was amazing, full of life, and beautiful.
She had let Manny lead as they walked, and after sometime they reached a lake. It was the most amazing setting she had ever seen. The water reflected off her dark brown eyes and seemed to make them sparkle. She finally let go of Manuelle's hand and walked to the edge of the magnificent lake. She sat down and slipped her bare feet (she hadn't bothered putting shoes on before they had left) into the cool refreshing water. As Manny started talking, she looked up at him. He seemed even taller than normal while she was sitting.
Mari thought a bit about his question. He had a point. But then again, they had been in the hideout, which supposedly know one other than the two of them and Razier knew about. Marielle shrugged, "I don't know Manny. Maybe it's because this is our first time out of the house?"
She looked around, everything seemed so peaceful. But she was sure there were other inhabitants on the island. Maybe they were like Mari, afraid to step out of their houses. "If there are other people on the island, which I'm sure there are, what do you think they are like? Humans? Or elves like Razier said?"

Manuelle followed Marielle to sit on the edge of the lake. Kicking off his flip flops, he slipped his feet in. “Yeah, I guess it was kind of a stupid question.” He can’t believe that he had spent so much time in one place. At home, he was either partying with friends, participating in something for school, hanging out with Raquel, or at her house. Manny never stayed home for he got bored to easily.
“Elves? Mari, you can’t be serious. There are no such things as elves. Razier’s on crack.” Manny had seen Lord of the Rings and Elf and knew that elves didn’t exist. They couldn’t exist, could they? He wouldn’t believe it until he saw it for his own to eyes. “The idea that elves exist is crazy. Need I remind you that the same person who told you about elves also told you to talk to plants?” He couldn’t get over that. The more he thought about it the crazier it sounded.
“Look, I’m not so sure I believe anything that Razier told us. I have this strange feeling that she wasn’t being completely upfront.” He leaned back to lie down on the grass. Yawning, he kept trying to convince himself that he was really awake and that he wasn’t dreaming. Manny was a very stubborn individual. It would take a lot to get him to see things on the island for what they really were. “Do you even know where we are? We keep referring to this place as ‘the island’. What island? I saw that movie ‘The Island’ and there wasn’t even a real island… Things just seem kinda sketchy.”

Ace had been wandering around all day looking for something fun to do. Unfortunately, there was nothing good at all on the island. Or so she thought... until she saw two bodies by the lake. One male, one female. From the aura racing off them they were human... or elf... it was a bit mixed. She raised an eyebrow and smirked maliciously.
Slowly, silently, she stalked closer and over heard bits of their conversation. Something about not believing in elves... Razier... that name sounded familiar. Talking to plants. They seemed very anti-magic. Clearly they weren't from the island. Observing them a bit more closely she noticed they seemed related. 'The siblings? How fortunate that I should meet them... I think I'll school these nonbelievers a little.'
She sneaked up right behind them and then laughed right into the boy's ear. "Silly child. She stood back and stepped around into the water before them. "Don't you believe in magic?" She tossed some honey colored hair from her face and stared down at both the children, for they were indeed children to her.
"Allow me to let you in on a few things. Magic does exist... talking to plants, the woman's probably an Earth elementalist... and elves do exist. More than elves. Angels, vampires... demons." Ace grinned broadly and allowed her sparkling white fangs to show. "Would you like me to prove it, foolish one?"
"And if you'd like to know where we are... the triangle... the Bermuda triangle. It does exist and here you are." She glanced away and then back down, moving around the two slowly, deliberately. "I wonder... are you the two prophecy children? Wherever could your guardian be? Have they deserted you already? Left you to fend for yourselves? How terrible of them... or maybe it was your fault. Did you drive them away?"
"No matter... I'll get them back for you. If they don't want you to die." Ace laughed and then fell into the boy's lap, pushing him backwards into the sand. Her nails grew to claws and worked at piercing the skin of his shoulders. She had finally found some fun. Maybe she could find even more?
((Yeah so i know that was kind of a lot at once... but Ace is sort of a very bold person who gets right into things and doesn't allow others the chance to slow her down. It should be better after this post though, because now she's introduced and stuff... <.< >.>))

"I guess you're right." Marielle said when Manny asked if she was serious about actually believing in the mythical creatures. She couldn't help but laugh when her brother remarked about their guardian being on drugs. "Maybe drugs are a common thing here?" She replied with a shrug. "Well, where ever here exactly is..." At Manuelle's question about what island they were on was asked, Mari started to think of all the islands she knew of. Hawaii? No, they would have seen more people by now. The same if it were the Bahamas, or any other island she had heard of for that matter. They all had inhabitants. Humans. Not silly elves, if those were even real. Mari jumped when she heard laughter behind her. She quickly looked to see that a woman had snuck up behind them. So they were others on the island. But the woman didn't look elven. Then again, Marielle had never seen an elf, other than in movies. Who was to say that Hollywood's definition of elves was correct anyway? She inched closer to her brother as the girl claimed there were elves, angels, vampires and demons even. Mari's eyes widened as the girl smiled and revealed two fangs. Definitely not elven. She seemed almost paralyzed as the girl explained that they were in the Bermuda Triangle. Impossible. There was nothing in the Bermuda triangle. nothing but water and fish and old wrecked ships and planes that had tried to go threw it. Mari snapped back to reality when they were asked if they were the prophecy children. How could anyone know? They hadn't been out and definitely hadn't made themselves known? Maybe the girl was physic? At the mention of Razier, Mari began to wonder. Had she abandoned them? No. Of course not. She had said that all that was to be done if she were needed was talk to plants. But how could they know that this would in fact work? When the girl fell into Manuelle's lap, Mari quickly stood. Who was this girl? She wasn't exactly sure what to do. The girl seemed to be clawing at her brother's shoulders? "Get off him." Mari said, at first quietly. She then repeated herself a bit louder. "Get off him. Get off and go away." Her voice was shaky seeing as she had no idea what she might be dealing with. (ugh. I am so sick right now and it probably shows. Sorry for crap posts. )

Manuelle whipped his head around as he heard a voice in his ear. Child? What child? Before he knew it, there was a woman standing in front of him and Marielle in the water. That answered his question about other people being on the island, but this person seemed a bit different. “Magic? Of course not.” It seemed that whoever this person was had been listening in on their conversation for some time.
She was saying so many things that it was hard for him to get a grasp on what she was saying. “Earth Elementalist…what’s that?” He didn’t care what Razi was; talking to plants wasn’t normal. “Are you on crack too? None of those things exist…” But before he could finish his statement he’d seen her fangs. “Well those must be…” he couldn’t find anything to explain her fangs.
Whoever this person was wasn’t being very nice to Manny. “I still don’t believe you,” he said firmly after gathering his nerve again. “Bermuda Triangle. You can’t be serious. If there was such thing as the Bermuda Triangle, which is probably the only truth about anything you’ve said so far, there wouldn’t be anything in it.” He’d love to see her explain what happened to Amelia Earhart.
“Who cares where Razier is?” He mumbled to himself. Manny still hadn’t gotten over the fact that she had yelled at him earlier. Besides, he was 18 and strong. He didn’t need her to watch over him and Marielle. This lady kept talking, only convincing him more that he was dreaming or that she was on drugs. Next thing he knew she was sitting on top of him, poking what were now claws into his shoulders. He no longer doubted that this was really happening for if it weren’t he wouldn’t be able to feel anything.
It was an awkward position to be in, especially since this girl was clawing at his shoulders. Normally, had a girl been on top of him, he might respond with a little of his Manny Charm. But since it seemed like this girl could kill him if she wanted to the though of putting his Manny Charm on her didn’t even occur to him.
OoC: ehhhh...me too.

Ace smirked and shoved her claws a little harder into the boy's shoulders. She was really enjoying herself now, but then the little girl had to go and ruin the mood. She had to get up into Ace's business. Ace growled and turned to her, her eyes were set in a glare as she roughly pushed the boy flat on his back and stood.
She moved to the girl, picking her up by her hair. A sneer moved across her lips and she put her face right up to hers. "Don't tell me what to do, little brat. If you want to get in my way, be prepared to get hurt."
Ace literally threw the girl away. With her strength it wasn't hard, like throwing a backpack or such. "This is the most fun I've had in ages and I'll be damned if kids like you go and mess it all up. You don't even have usable powers. Pathetic." She shook her head and then returned her attention to the boy.
Her sneer was replaced with a mischevious grin as she dipped her hand down and lifted him by his chin. Her claws were sharp and pressed to his skin, daring him to pull away and mar his pretty flesh. "So, do you like games, kitten?" She purred at him. "I have just the game for you."
"It's see how much I can torture you before you scream, cry, or die. Whichever comes first. I hope you're tolerant to pain. It's no fun if you break right away." She laughed softly and brought her free hand up to trace the line of his jaw and lips. "Now doesn't that sound amusing?"

Marielle immediately regretted saying anything. Her and her big mouth. She had a feeling she was going to be getting herself into a lot of trouble during her time on the island. She also had a feeling that right now was going to be the first of those times when she girl growled and turned to glare at her.
She let out a cry of pain when she was picked up by her hair. Her own hands were on her hair as well though, trying to pull it back toward where it was supposed to be. The girl was so much stronger than she had looked.
"Let go!" Mari begged, and the girl did. Except, it wasn't the way Marielle had hopped for. Instead of being dropped to the ground as she expected, she was thrown hard out of the way.
Her back hit hard against a tree trunk and she slid down in until she reached the ground. She groaned slightly and then heard the girl talking to her brother. She was going to hurt him as well. Marielle didn't know what to do. As the girl had said, they were powerless as of now.
The only thing Mari could think of was to try to get in contact with Razier. Screaming wasn't an option. Her back was in to much pain and she knew that even talking above a whisper would hurt. But then she remembered the other way of getting a hold of their guardian. Plants. Marielle subconsciously shrugged and whispered to the tree she was leaning on.
"Razier, I don't know if you can hear me, but we didn't listen. We decided to explore and came to a lake. Some girl with fangs showed up. She's going to hurt Manny, Razier. Don't let her hurt him please." Mari left out the fact that she herself was hurt. She was more worried about Manny.

"Now now Ace" a smooth voice called attention to a figure that had seemingly appeared out of nowhere and was now using a tree nearby as support. "It was so rude of you to neglect to tell me you had a new boyfriend" the woman's pearly blade-like teeth shone through her mischevious smile.
"I thought sisters were supposed to share friends....and what's this?" The demoness did not even leave tracks in the dirt as she moved from her previous position until she was crouching in front of the girl on the ground. With a strong grip, her pale hand took hold of the girl's chin. Her dark eyes eyed the girl through a thin curtain of blonde curls which floated lightly with the wind.
She took a deep breath. "Hmm...human? No...a mix. Interesting" she displayed that smirk of hers. Her grip loosened and she stood up straight, throwing a quick glance toward her sister and the boy at her mercy. "You wouldn't be here unless you were unaware of the dangers on this island. Unless you're complete idiots. And although that seems like a plausible explanation, I think there's something else here I need to know....so why don't you tell me where you're from?" the demoness turned her sights on the girl once more. It seemed Ace had had her time with her too, but she didn't look too spoiled. She stared at the girl for a moment, her eyes menacing and clearly showing that she would show no mercy for resistance.
ooc: dang...so short...so crappy!!

All of a sudden, Manuelle felt as if he was in a nightmare. However, he knew he wasn’t and unfortunately, everything that was happening was real. Manny sat up to try and help his sister, but before he could, the demoness had a grip on his jaw. “Mari…” He tried to call out to her but he could barely make a sound. She had hit the tree hard and he was afraid that she was badly hurt.
“Please. I’ll do whatever you want if you leave my sister alone.” Marielle hadn’t done anything but defend him and that had gotten her into trouble. He didn’t know what he was getting himself into but if it meant that Marielle would be okay, then he was willing to do whatever it took.
Suddenly another woman appeared and Manny felt so relief. Maybe she could help him. Boyfriend? Was she crazy too? The girl in front of him was about to torture him. When she had mentioned that they were sisters, his heart sank. She was a demoness to and now he was in double the trouble than he was before.
Manny saw the other woman approach his sister out of the corner of his eye. He tried to tell her to leave Marielle alone but the grip on his jaw was so tight that the words wouldn’t come out. It was now more than ever that he wished he had Razier’s help, whether it meant talking to a plant to reach her. Even if they hated each other…

Ace chuckled as she heard a familiar voice enter the area. Turning her eyes towards a blonde girl she smirked. "Nollie." She said lightly. Her sister was always fun. "No, not my boyfriend. Just prey." She pat the boy's head with her free hand.
Turning back to the boy she allowed her sister to deal with the girl however she pleased. She puffed a strand of honey colored hair from her eyes and then leaned into the boy's face. "Sweetie, what I want you to do is take punishment."
"I am not here for money, or the like. I am here to torture and kill. It's just how I am." She pushed him down toward the ground and then reached down to draw her claws across his chest and rip through his clothes. With any luck she scratched deep enough to break his skin.
Even if she didn't she was going to as she sank over him and slammed her claws and palms into his collarbone. She would not be satisfied until plenty of blood was drawn.

Razier was still running when she felt a more urgent need to get to them. One of them really wanted her there? They must be really frightened. Razier ran faster still and came skidding into the scene so fast that she nearly fell over when she stopped. Looking around it wasn't hard to find the problem. She had to do a doubletake though as she spotted two demons rather than one.
"Shit." Razier cursed under her breath. She then trotted over and cleared her throat. "Excuse me, is there a problem here?" She asked the girl pinning Manuelle. She didn't wait for a response as she grabbed the girl up and threw her aside. She looked to the other one, but didn't put her guard down for the first. "Step away from the girl."
She crouched slightly, poised to spring, but also to check Manuelle. She glanced down and then away. "Are you ok?" Razi wasn't really interested in that answer either. She was a little more worried about what the demonesses could do versus what they had done.

Marielle hardened her face as a new girl came and studied over her. She ignored the pain in her back as she jerked her chin away from the girl's harsh grip. She now stared off into the forest surrounding the lake. A few tears threatened to stream down her face. She felt so helpless.
She turned her head to listen to the conversation between who the new girl called Ace and her brother. Her eyes widened. She wasn't going to let Manny get tortured. Or worse. Then Mari's glitter of hope showed up.
Razier came. Which meant the whole crazy idea of talking to plants actually worked. Razier got rid of Ace for the time and was helping Manny. Marielle bit her lip and tried to ignore the pain as she tried to stand. She used the trunk of the tree for support and pushed off it.
She stumbled over to Razier and Manny and held herself up by holding onto the two of them. She looked up at her older brother with worry, "Are you okay, Manny? I was so scared."

Manny gritted his teeth as the demoness called Ace scratched her claws down his shirt, ripping the fabric. Red lines remained where her claws had been. The words torture and kill kept playing over and over in his head. Manuelle was too young to die. He’d barely experienced life. “Why are you punishing me? I haven’t done anything wrong?” Well, not to her at least…
He couldn’t help but cry out as her claws slammed into his flesh. He could feel his warm blood drip down his chest. Suddenly he heard a familiar voice and Ace was no longer on top of him. He was grateful for her help but felt kind of embarrassed that she had to save him from another woman in the first place.
“Thanks,” he said not really looking at her. “The cuts sting a little but I guess I’ll be fine.” He stood up and found Marielle looking at him. “Are you okay too?” He hoped that she wasn’t hurt. He’d failed miserably at his job to protect her as her older brother. He moved to stand in front of her incase the demonesses tried to make another move. He might not be able to do much, but at least he was going to try.

Ace growled as she was thrown from the boy. She turned to see a girl with dark hair looming near him now. Competition? No... his savior. She growled again and stood back up from where she had fallen. She then lunged at the girl as the boy stood and the other girl came together.
As she got near she could feel the power flare off the girl. She hesitated a moment, but then sank her claws into her flawless skin. She tore at her skin and bared her teeth. This savior wouldn't last long if Ace had any choice in the matter.
She tackled her to the ground and sank her fangs into her shoulder. "Bother me and die, you bitch." She hissed as she drew her teeth back out and grinned at the sanguine liquid flowing from the wounds. She placed one hand on the savior girl's throat and began to choke her.
